Good reading
Clay weaves a wonderful story. Make sure to buy his books!
I didn't want to stop reading. It is interesting how some things could parallel to what's going on in the world today. I'm impressed with his writing. Worth the time read!
The South has a history of producing great authors. Clay Mercer stands tall among them. He makes you rethink beliefs that you thought were set in stone. Sometimes he goes the other way, and turns those soft beliefs into granite. In 2045 he led me down a contemplative path from could it happen to will it happen, the whole time keeping his characters two steps ahead of my thinking.
Great read. Exciting from the start and very timely. The possibilities of how a country can lose it's identity when citizens do not pay attention to what is happening with it's politicians or military alignment . Clay Mercer introduces characters that are both mercenary and compassionate and his true knowledge and love of the south permeates the novel. This book will appeal to individuals who love action, adventure, and drama. There are surprising twists and turns throughout the struggle to reclaim the nation from Sharia Law.
This is not the normal book I would read, but once I was introduced to Cable Broxton, I was hooked. The book moved so fast, and though it is set in the future, the events are more than possible. A frightening reality brought to life by Clay Mercer in a book that could be a reality. If that happens, I hope we have a Cable Broxton who is willing to step forward and speak the truth.
It doesn't matter what your stand is on Muslims or even Sharia Law, this books has truths for every reader. But be ready to confront your beliefs, have them shaken, stirred, and then set on a new course. Your best friend could become your enemy, and your enemies could be in the house next door. 2045 could make you question your own beliefs and what you would be willing to do to protect what you believe in.
